Nicole Siller

Nicole Siller is a Senior Lecturer at Deakin Law School, Deakin University, with expertise in international criminal law, human trafficking, and clinical legal education. She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Groningen (2017), Juris Doctorate from University of Toledo College of Law (2008), and BA (Hons) from Purdue University (2004). Her career spans prosecution, academic research, and innovative legal education initiatives.

Research Interests focus on transnational organized crime, criminal law and procedure (international/domestic), and modern slavery. She integrates these into clinical legal education and work-integrated learning frameworks.

Scientific Awards include a 2013 fellowship for doctoral research on transnational crime. She secured grants for the Deakin Law Clinic's policy advocacy expansion (2020) and simulation-based teaching redesign (2022).
