Nicole Richter

Prof. Nicole Richter is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neotectonics and Geohazards at RWTH Aachen University, holding the Junior Professorship for Remote Sensing of Natural Hazards. Her research focuses on active volcanic systems, satellite geodesy for volcanic deformation monitoring, and lava flow modeling. She leads projects in over 20 countries, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to natural hazard assessment.
