Nicole Pfoser

Nicole Pfoser is a Professor for Object Planning at Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences (HfWU) since 2018. She serves as Vice Dean FUGT, Dean of Studies for the Bachelor's Program in Landscape Architecture, and Deputy Director of the Institute for Urban Affairs and Real Estate (ISI). Her academic roles focus on integrating sustainable design, urban ecology, and interdisciplinary planning.

Key projects include Green instead of Grey: Industrial Estates in Transition (funded by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research) and Buildings, Greening and Energy – Potentials and Interactions (Zukunft Bau initiative). Her work emphasizes ecological transformation, facade integration with vegetation, and sustainable urban development strategies.

Pfoser combines academic leadership with practical innovation, managing interdisciplinary research initiatives and co-founding the planning office parc.architektur+freiraum in 2005.
