Nicole M. Isabelle is a New York-based Adjunct Lecturer in Embodied Art at UF's School of Art and Art History. A multidisciplinary artist and former professional dancer, her work explores intersections of bodily movement, nature, and visual expression through painting, collage, and installation.
Research integrates 15 years of contemporary dance experience with visual art creation. Current projects capture bodily motion through direct impressions on paper, creating works where the human body becomes landscape. Additional practices include whimsical illustration and printmaking.
Holding an MAAE from UF, MFA in Dance from University of Hawai'i, and BA from University of Minnesota, she teaches diverse populations. Pedagogical approach connects physical awareness with visual creativity across educational settings.
