Nicole Luke is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Disability Studies at Brock University, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Columbia University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D). Her research focuses on verbal behavior development, integrating advanced technologies like virtual reality (VR) into learning environments, and organizational behavior management. She has consulted internationally in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Dr. Luke’s work emphasizes improving educational systems to enhance quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Her lab, the Luke Lab, explores ABA applications, VR in training, and strategies for professional well-being. She has led mixed-methods research projects, including a study funded by the Canada Games Grant analyzing the impact of the Canada Games on athletes' lives.

She advises graduate students in MA programs and collaborates with community organizations to bridge research and practice.
