Nicole Lefort

Nicole Lefort is a Professor of Materials Engineering at TH Georg Agricola, where she also serves as Head of the Master's program in "Material Engineering and Industrial Heritage Conservation" and Deputy Ombudsperson for Science. Her academic career spans over a decade at TH Georg Agricola, including roles as Lecturer for Special Tasks (2018–2021) and Research Associate (2007–2018). She earned her M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Production and Materials Engineering at TFH Georg Agricola (2004–2010) and completed her doctorate in 2019 at Ruhr University Bochum on "Welding of Rotors for Future Steam Turbine Applications."
