Nicole Kettwick

Nicole Kettwick is an Adjunct Professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law and a Partner at Brandt Kettwick Defense. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Sociology (Cum Laude) from the same institution. Her expertise spans criminal defense, DWI law, forfeiture proceedings, and legal ethics. She teaches mentorship and professional development courses at the law school and actively contributes to legal education through CLE seminars.

Dr. Kettwick’s research focuses on criminal law reform, particularly in forfeiture mechanisms and DWI defense strategies. She has authored multiple chapters in the DWI Deskbook and published articles in Hennepin Lawyer on topics like interpreter rights and legal system resilience. Her recent work emphasizes mental health in the legal profession and ethical mentorship.
