Nicole Johannson is a Lecturer in the Department of French at Arizona State University's School of International Letters and Cultures. Her teaching focuses on intermediate and beginner French courses, particularly FRE 201 which emphasizes past tense and storytelling. She holds an M.A. in French Linguistics (ASU, 2014), an M.S. in French with a College Teaching Option (Minnesota State University, 2010), and a B.A. in English Literature and French (Minnesota State University, 2008).
Her research interests include second language acquisition, French linguistics, and online language education. She actively contributes to developing ASU's online French program. Beyond academia, she enjoys hiking, crochet, reading, and family time with her husband and son.
