Nicole Irving

Nicole Irving is a Teaching Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of New Brunswick. Holding both BN and MN degrees, her expertise centers on pediatric nursing practice, palliative care, and innovative teaching methodologies. She specializes in curriculum development with a focus on simulation-based learning approaches to enhance clinical education.

Her academic contributions include:

• Developing clinical coaching frameworks
• Creating transition-to-practice programs for new graduates
• Implementing simulation technologies in nursing education

Professor Irving received the Faculty of Nursing Excellence in Teaching Award in 2021. She actively serves on UNB Senate committees including Curriculum, Student Standings and Progression, and Senate Nominating committees.
