Nicole Megan Edwards, Ph.D., is a tenured Associate Professor in Rowan University's College of Education, specializing in early childhood special education and inclusive practices. Her research examines bio-ecological systems supporting emotional development in vulnerable children (birth-5 years), Part C Early Intervention efficacy, and implementation barriers for school-wide positive behavior frameworks.
She directs multiple funded projects including NJ Health Foundation studies on incarcerated parents' reunification readiness and community support for immigrant families. As Graduate Program Coordinator, she oversees MA programs in Special Education and the Teacher of Students with Disabilities endorsement.
Edwards holds governance roles on New Jersey's State Interagency Coordinating Council and international committees for the Division for Early Childhood. Her book 'Early Social-Emotional Development' (Brookes Publishing) provides evidence-based strategies for childhood behavioral support.
