Nicole Benbow is a part-time Adjunct Lecturer in History at Redeemer University, where she teaches Canadian pre-confederation (HIS-221) and post-confederation (HIS-222) courses. Concurrently, she serves as Director of Teaching and Learning and Academic Program Manager at the university's Innovation Centre.
Education:
- M.A. in History (2011), University of Waterloo. Thesis: Commemoration, German Ethnicity and National Identity: Remembrance Day in Kitchener, 1919–2009
- B.A. in History with Theatre Minor (2010), Redeemer University
Research Focus: Her work explores Canadian social structures, environmental interactions, and medical developments through historical analysis. She maintains interdisciplinary interests bridging historical methodology with cultural and public policy dimensions.
Professional Experience: Beyond Redeemer, she has taught at Conestoga College and Emmanuel Bible College, and developed community programs within public library systems.
