Nicolas Lamp is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Queen’s University, with a cross-appointment to the School of Policy Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Science. He joined Queen’s in 2014 and became Director of the Annual Queen’s Institute on Trade Policy in 2019. His research focuses on globalization narratives, multilateral trade lawmaking, and the implications of economic agreements for development. Lamp holds a PhD in Law from the London School of Economics (2013), specializing in the discourses shaping international trade law. He also served at the WTO Appellate Body Secretariat prior to academia.

Professional Roles: Academic Director of Queen’s International Law Programs; Director of the Queen’s Institute on Trade Policy; teaches Contracts, International Trade Law, and Public International Law.
Publications: Over 20 articles on WTO lawmaking, globalization narratives, and trade policy. Recent works include analyses of multilateral trade dynamics, Sino-Western globalization perspectives, and corporate power narratives in globalized economies.
