Nicolas Delalande is a tenured Associate Professor at the Centre for History, Sciences Po. His research spans Political History, Social Inequalities, Political Economy, and Global History, with a focus on 19th-20th Century Europe.
His work explores themes like taxation consent, working-class solidarity, and global financial systems. Key publications include La Lutte et l'Entraide (2019) and Les Batailles de l'impôt (2011). He co-edited A World of Public Debts (2020) and Dictionnaire historique de la comparaison (2020).
At Sciences Po, Delalande teaches courses on 19th Century European History, History of Capitalism, and Historiographical Debates. He serves as chief-editor of La Vie des Idées and contributes to editorial boards of journals like French Historical Studies and Histoire@Politique, while supervising PhD candidates in political, economic, and social history.
