معرفی
Nicolas Bion is a Research Director at the CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) and co-leader of the SAMCAT team within the Institute of Chemistry of Environments and Materials of Poitiers (IC2MP) at the University of Poitiers. His work focuses on heterogeneous catalysis for energy and environmental applications, including hydrogen production, ammonia synthesis, and pollutant elimination.
- Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches (2015), Université de Poitiers
- Doctorat en Chimie Théorique (2001), Université de Caen
His research emphasizes the preparation and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts, with a focus on oxygen storage materials, intermetallic electrides, and catalytic systems for biogas and syngas production. Key projects include ANR CORAL (oxygen storage components), ANR INTERMETALYST (ammonia synthesis), and international collaborations with Brazil, China, and Portugal.
Bion has received multiple awards, including the CNRS PEDR (2015), the Société Chimique de France's Jeune Chercheur Prize (2015), and the CNRS Prime d'excellence scientifique (2011). His catalytic studies span energy conversion, environmental remediation, and material design, with over 85 publications and an h-index of 31.
- PEDR (CNRS, 2015)
- Jeune Chercheur Prize (Société Chimique de France, 2015)
- Prime d'excellence scientifique (CNRS, 2011)
His recent publications highlight innovations in ammonia synthesis via electride catalysts, methane dry reforming, and oxygen mobility studies in solid oxide cells, demonstrating his expertise in catalytic mechanisms and material engineering.
