Claudia Lalli is a CNRS Researcher at the University of Rennes since 2012, affiliated with UMR CNRS 6226 (Institute of Chemical Sciences of Rennes - ISCR). She holds an Habilitation to supervise research (HDR) obtained on July 5, 2023.
Her educational background includes a PhD from the University of Florence (2006-2009) under the supervision of Professors A. Guarna and A. Trabocchi, and a Master Degree from the same institution (2005). Prior to her current position, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship (2009-2012) at ISCN Gif sur Yvette under Prof. J. Zhu and Dr. G. Masson.
Lalli's research focuses on organic synthesis, with particular emphasis on asymmetric catalysis, total synthesis of natural products, and chiral chemistry. Her work involves collaborations both within France and internationally, with specific projects on organocatalyzed reactions, lanthanide complexes, and phosphorus chemistry.
She has held significant leadership roles in professional organizations, including serving as President of the Club of Young Researcher for the Bretagne-Pays-de-Loire region of the French Chemical Society (2015-2019) and as Secretary of the Regional Network since 2019. Lalli has been an appointed member of the National Committee Section 12 from 2012-2025.
