Florence Geneste is a CNRS Research Director at the University of Rennes 1, affiliated with the MaCSE group within the UMR-CNRS 6226 “Institut des Sciences Chimiques de Rennes”. Her research focuses on surface modification, electrochemistry, and energy storage technologies. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University Paris-Sud and has conducted postdoctoral research at Thomson-CSF and the University of Cambridge.
Her research interests include functionalization of surfaces via electrografting and silanization, electrode modification for environmental applications, flow electrolysis, and development of Redox Flow Batteries (RFBs). She is a member of the French Chemical Society (SCF) and has received awards for her contributions to energy and electrochemical innovation.
