Nicola Fielding is a Lecturer in Child Health Nursing (Education) at the University of Plymouth, based in the School of Nursing and Midwifery (part of the Faculty of Health). She serves as Deputy Programme Lead for the Child strand of undergraduate nursing programmes and focuses on paediatric palliative care, care of critically unwell children, and complex care in child health. She also leads modules on paediatric high dependency care, palliative care, simulation in healthcare education, spiritual care of children and young people, and legal/ethical decision making.
