Nicola Bruno is a Full Professor in the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma, specializing in perceptual psychology and psychophysics. His research spans visual cognition, multisensory processing, and the historical foundations of psychophysics.
Bruno's recent work investigates perceptual biases in portraiture, psychophysical scaling methods, and the application of Weber-Fechner principles to decision-making processes. He teaches courses in General Psychology and Perception while supervising graduate research in cognitive neuroscience.
His scholarly contributions include over 130 publications and editorial roles for leading perception journals. Bruno's laboratory is part of the Neuroscience Unit at Via Volturno 39.
