Nick Street is the Leonard A. Hadley Chair in Leadership and Professor at the University of Iowa, with appointments in the Tippie College of Business (Business Analytics), Computer Science, and Nursing. He serves as Associate Dean for Research and PhD Programs in the Tippie College of Business.

Street's research bridges data science with healthcare analytics, business intelligence, and social network analysis. His work spans predictive modeling in cancer symptom trajectory analysis, federated learning for medical imaging, and influence diffusion in social networks for viral marketing. He has developed methodologies for inverse classification, correlation search, and real-time risk prediction in clinical and financial domains.
Recent publications focus on machine learning applications in healthcare (e.g., surgical site infection prediction, warfarin dosing optimization) and urban informatics (e.g., traffic accident forecasting). His work integrates NLP for processing clinical narratives and deep learning for longitudinal EHR analysis.
