Nick Sauers is an Associate Professor in the Education Policy Studies Department at Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development. He serves as unit coordinator for the Ed.D. and Ed.S. programs in Educational Leadership and is involved with the Center for the Advanced Study of Technology Leadership in Education (CASTLE) and the Center for Urban School Leadership (USL). His research focuses on K-12 leadership and technology integration.

Research interests emphasize leveraging technology for educational change, 1:1 computing initiatives, and superintendent leadership in digital environments. He has advised school leaders globally on technology policy and implementation. His work explores how social media (e.g., Twitter) impacts educational leadership communication and network dynamics. Prior roles include lecturer/researcher at University of Kentucky and K-12 administrator in Iowa.
