Nick Masters is a Lecturer in the Department of Music at Saint Martin’s University and South Puget Sound Community College. He holds affiliations with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia as a teaching artist. His primary roles include orchestral performance and music education.
Education: Nick attended Western Washington University and Seattle University, studying under principal teachers Joe Kaufman and Travis Gore of the Seattle Symphony.
Research interests focus on music performance and pedagogy, reflected in his active involvement with orchestras such as the Olympia Symphony Orchestra, Federal Way Symphony, and Bellevue Symphony. He maintains a private teaching studio in Olympia, Washington.

Additional activities include performances with Symphony Tacoma, Yakima Symphony, and Spokane Symphony. He has participated in Round Top and Marrowstone music festivals.
