معرفی
Dr. Nick Linton is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London’s Faculty of Engineering and a Consultant Cardiologist at Imperial NHS Trust. His research focuses on improving treatments for heart rhythm disorders, particularly through innovations like Ripple Mapping for cardiac ablation. He holds affiliations with the Artificial Intelligence Network, Centre for Cardiac Engineering, and ElectroCardioMaths Programme.
Education: Master’s in Engineering, Economics, and Management from Oxford University; Medicine from King’s College London; PhD investigating atrial arrhythmia mapping and ablation.
Research interests include cardiac arrhythmia mechanisms, catheter ablation techniques, and AI applications in cardiology. His work emphasizes clinical translation, such as developing ablation strategies targeting scar channels and ganglionated plexi. Notable contributions include the Ripple-VT study and GANGLIA-AF trial evaluating novel ablation approaches.
His lab, based at the Sir Michael Uren Hub, collaborates on medical device innovation and electrophysiological technologies. Current projects include AI-driven diagnostic tools for cardiac MRI and clinical trials for ventricular arrhythmia treatments.
