Professor Nick Kettridge is a faculty member at the University of Birmingham, serving as Head of the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences. He holds a PhD in Geography (2005) and a BSc in Geography (2002) from the University of Sheffield.

His research focuses on ecohydrology, particularly the resilience of peatland ecosystems to natural and anthropogenic disturbances. He investigates how climate change, wildfires, and droughts affect ecosystem services and hydrological processes. His work spans hydrological modeling, carbon cycling, and environmental disturbance in temperate and boreal landscapes.
