Dr Nick Katuszonek is a Principal Lecturer in Popular Music and Postgraduate Studies, specializing in contemporary rhythmic concepts, the Moeller method, and experimental music. He holds a PhD in Jazz Studies from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), alongside a PGCert in Pedagogy and a BA/MMus in Music. His research focuses on the interplay between jazz, improvisation, and popular music across European contexts, supported by the HERA-funded Rhythm Changes Project.
