Nick Hand

Nick Hand is the Director of International Affairs and a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Greenwich. He holds ACCA, MSc, and BComm qualifications and has over two decades of experience in accounting and finance education. His roles include leading the Department of Accounting & Finance and fostering international academic partnerships in China from 2005 to 2011.

Education: ACCA qualification (1994), MSc, and BComm degrees. His teaching focuses on Management Accounting and Financial Modelling, while his research interests include cross-cultural business practices and educational partnerships. He has developed programs with Chinese universities, resulting in ongoing student exchange programs with the Faculty of Business.

Despite no listed recent publications, his professional contributions include programme development and institutional partnerships. He has held leadership roles such as Head of Department of Accounting & Finance and currently oversees international affairs at the university.
