Nick Carter is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Texas State University. He specializes in Maya archaeology, epigraphy, and heritage management, with fieldwork focused on the western Maya Mountains of Peten, Guatemala. Dr. Carter earned his Ph.D. from Brown University (2014).
