Dr. Nick Andrews serves as Professor of Practice in Horticulture at Oregon State University's College of Agricultural Sciences, holding joint affiliation with the Center for Resilient Agriculture & Food Systems. As Organic Vegetable Extension Specialist, leads research on cover crop systems, soil nutrient management, and ecological pest control.
Key projects include development of the OSU Organic Fertilizer & Cover Crop Calculator, Croptime vegetable degree-day models, and leadership in the Western Cover Crops Council. Extension work focuses on supporting organic and sustainable vegetable producers through applied research and technical assistance.
