Nicholas White

Associate Professor Nicholas White is an ARC Future Fellow at the Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University (ANU), with a research focus on supramolecular chemistry, anion recognition, and self-assembled materials. He teaches coordination chemistry and porous materials at the undergraduate level.

White’s work centers on:

• Designing hydrogen- and halogen-bonded supramolecular frameworks for anion recognition
• Developing scalable, non-chromatographic synthetic methods for organic cages
• Exploring porosity and stability in self-assembled systems
• Environmental applications like sulfate and oxalate removal from water
