Nicholas Steel is a Clinical Professor in Public Health at the Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia. He serves as Head of Health Services and Primary Care Research Group. His research focuses on improving health outcomes for older populations through studies like the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA) and the Global Burden of Disease Study. Steel holds a PhD from UEA (2008) and trained in public health at the University of Cambridge and RAND Health as a Harkness Fellow.
