Nicholas S. Bell

Dr. Nicholas S. Bell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education at the University of Connecticut. His research and teaching focus on disrupting educational injustices through anti-racist practices, culturally relevant pedagogy, and advanced quantitative methods.

Dr. Bell’s research spans four key areas: anti-racist special education policies, culturally relevant STEM teaching for students with/without disabilities, special education teacher preparation, and the application of QuantCrit in educational research.
