Dr. Nicholas James is a Bye-Fellow and Director of Studies in Social Anthropology at Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge. His research explores contemporary urban development in India and Latin America, alongside historical and archaeological studies of farming in Mexico and Cambridgeshire. He has also contributed to cultural heritage strategies for Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire as a consultant in historical resource management.
