Dr Nicholas Croucher is an Associate Professor in Bacterial Genomics at the School of Public Health, Imperial College London. He serves as a Sir Henry Dale Fellow in the Bacterial Evolutionary Epidemiology group at the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis, focusing on the biology of multi-strain bacterial populations like Streptococcus pneumoniae. His work integrates molecular microbiology, genomic data analysis, and computational modeling to study antibiotic resistance, virulence, and vaccine target antigens.
