Nicholas Cochran-Caggiano, MD, MS, is an Instructor of Emergency Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine. His research focuses on emergency care innovations, including pediatric resuscitation protocols, antimicrobial stewardship, and health care cost analysis. He holds a medical degree from Albany Medical College and a Master of Science from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Cochran-Caggiano is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the National Association of Emergency Medicine Services Physicians (NAEMSP). He leads initiatives like the CARSEAT-CPR study, investigating pediatric cardiac arrest transport practices, and contributed to antimicrobial stewardship research. His work bridges clinical practice and policy, addressing gaps in emergency medicine through evidence-based solutions. He received the 2023 Young Physician & Resident Leadership Award from the New York ACEP.
