Nicholas A. Bloom is a Professor of Economics at Stanford University and a Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). He holds a courtesy appointment at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is Co-Director of the Productivity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). His academic journey includes degrees from Cambridge, Oxford, and University College London (PhD in Economics).
