Nguyen-Thi Dang is an Assistant Professor in the Topology and Dynamics team at the Orsay Institute of Mathematics, University of Paris-Saclay. Her research focuses on dynamical systems, ergodic theory, and interactions with homogeneous spaces of arbitrary volume and rank.
- Key Research Themes:
- Dynamical Systems
- Ergodic Theory
- Random Walks on Lie Groups
Recent work includes preprints on equidistribution of periodic tori and topological mixing of diagonal flows, alongside a 2020 publication on Weyl Chamber flow dynamics. She presented at conferences like IHES (2023) and the Henri Lebesgue Semester Conference (2023).
As a founding member of the HEGL laboratory in Heidelberg, she promotes experimental geometry. Teaching duties span discrete probability, differential equations, and GeoGebra-based statistics for multiple programs.
Her academic lineage includes PhD advisors Barbara Schapira and François Maucourant, with collaborations extending to Jialun Li and Olivier Glorieux.
