Dr. Ngoc San Ha is a Lecturer in the School of Engineering at RMIT University, specializing in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering. He holds a PhD in Structural Mechanics from Konkuk University (South Korea, 2014). Previously, he served as a Sessional Lecturer at La Trobe University and a Research Fellow at Swinburne and Curtin Universities. He is a member of RMIT's Centre for Innovative Structures and Materials (CISM), led by ARC Laureate Fellow Mike Xie.
Dr. Ha's research focuses on bio-inspired structures, construction materials, and energy absorption mechanisms. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles, including highly cited works in Composite Part B and Journal of Bionic Engineering, and has received two best-paper awards for biomimetic research. His work spans metamaterials, advanced composites, and structural analysis under extreme conditions.
