Neven Tomičić serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Experimental Physics within the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Zagreb. He joined the institution in 2023 after completing his PhD in 2019 and undergraduate studies in 2015.
His research focuses on astronomy and astrophysics, specifically interstellar matter and star formation in nearby galaxies. He actively collaborates with international scientific groups including GASP, PHANGS, and Arcetri Observatory in Florence. His work bridges observational astrophysics with theoretical modeling of galactic structures.
