Dr. Nevein Philip Botross Henien serves as Associate Professor (Education Focused) at Monash University Malaysia's Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences and Senior Lecturer in Internal Medicine at Clinical School Johor Bahru. She concurrently works as a consultant physician at Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru, where she co-manages the neuromedical clinic alongside neurology specialists.
Her academic credentials include an MBBCh with honours and Master's in Internal Medicine (MSc), both from Cairo University. Professional affiliations encompass the Egyptian Medical Syndicate (as specialist), Malaysian Medical Council & Association, and Malaysian National Specialist Registrar.
Research focuses on neurology with concentrated work in multiple sclerosis, pancreatic size-insulin level relationships in diabetes, and medical education innovation. She develops clinical teaching tools including podcasts linking basic sciences to practice and investigates peer feedback mechanisms in virtual clinical skills training.
