Dr. Nereida Polovina is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University's Business School, specializing in Finance and Economics. She joined in 2016 and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses including International Financial Management, Corporate Finance, and research supervision. Her research focuses on Corporate Governance, Foreign Ownership in Emerging Markets, and Sustainability in the Western Balkans.
Dr. Polovina holds a PhD from Lancaster University Management School (funded by full scholarship) and an MSc in Accounting and Finance with Distinction from the University of Manchester. She also earned a BSc in Business Administration with High Honours from METU and a PGCLTHE with Distinction from her current institution.
