Nelson Sindze Wembe is a PhD student and research associate at the DFG Research Training Group 2686 Contradiction Studies, focusing on Black African diaspora literature in French and Spanish. He has held academic positions at the University of Lleida (2021-2022 Lecturer, 2014-2015 Teaching Assistant) and is affiliated with research groups including Amnesia Imperial: Estudios postcoloniales hispanófonos (since 2020) and the Database of Migrant Writers in Iberian Languages (since 2014).

He has contributed to academic panels at institutions including the University of Bremen, University of Zürich, and Complutense University, emphasizing the intersection of activism and literary creation.
