Nelia Nacima Hyndman-Rizk is a Senior Lecturer in Intercultural Management at the School of Business, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Canberra. With a background in anthropology, she brings an interdisciplinary perspective to understanding cultural dynamics in global business environments. Her work bridges academic research and practical applications in intercultural communication and management.
Her regional expertise spans:
- Middle Eastern business cultures, with specific focus on Lebanon
- Australian multicultural contexts and policies
- Indonesian cultural dynamics, particularly in Bali
Dr. Hyndman-Rizk's research explores the intersection of digital technology, global mobility, and cultural identity. Her work examines how digital nomadism is reshaping notions of global citizenship and creating new forms of transnational communities. She investigates how traditional cultural values interact with modern business practices in increasingly interconnected global markets.
