Nela Filimon Costin

Nela Filimon Costin is a Senior Lecturer at the Universitat de Girona, affiliated with the Department of Business. Her research focuses on consumer behavior, digital consumption, cultural markets, and the sociology of consumption.

• Education: PhD in Economics (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), MS in Economics and Business (Pompeu Fabra University)

Her work explores intersections between technology, culture, and wellbeing, with publications in journals like Social Science Computer Review and Journal of Cultural Economics. She co-edited the book European Consumers in the Digital Era (Routledge).

She received the Literati Outstanding Reviewer Award in 2017 for her contributions to Arts and the Market journal.
