Neirouz Watad is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Mount Saint Mary College’s School of Business. She joined the institution in 2018, specializing in auditing, tax preparation, and nonprofit financial management. Her research focuses on Activity-Based Costing, Balanced Scorecards, and ESG reporting in nonprofit organizations. She holds an MS in Accounting and a DBA in Accounting.

Community Engagement: She coordinates student volunteer recruitment for the AARP TaxAide program, integrating practical tax preparation experience with civic service. This initiative strengthens students’ communication and organizational skills while providing free tax assistance to low-income communities.
