Professor Neil Piller is a leading lymphologist and Director of the Lymphoedema Clinical Research Unit at Flinders University. He is a Full Member of the College of Medicine and Public Health and the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute.

- Board member of the International Society of Lymphology and Vice Chair of the International Lymphoedema Framework
- Chief Editor of the "Journal of Lymphoedema" (UK), with editorial roles in "Phlebology" (USA) and "Lymphology" (USA)
His research spans lymphatic physiology, oedema management, and digital health interventions, focusing on objective assessment tools like bioimpedance spectroscopy and innovative self-care models. Recent work examines AI/e-learning integration and rural healthcare accessibility.
