Negin Sadeghi is a Doctoral Researcher and Research Assistant in the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering at Loughborough University. She serves as a Tutor Fellow and contributes to research groups in Transport and Urban Planning, alongside Architecture. Her work focuses on urban regeneration, sustainability, and digital empowerment in marginalized urban areas. She holds a BSc in Architectural Engineering and an MA in Urban Design, combining technical and policy-oriented approaches to urban challenges.
Recent research projects include BIM modeling for infrastructure projects (ICEBERG initiative), sustainability assessments, and post-lockdown urban experiences. She has explored e-participation frameworks, energy optimization in deteriorated urban blocks, and the socio-economic dynamics of creative tourism and urban entrepreneurship. Her work often integrates digital tools like use-case diagrams for community empowerment and data-driven methods for policy evaluation.
Her research outputs bridge physical design interventions with social equity goals, emphasizing participatory processes and measurable sustainability outcomes. Current collaborations include projects on citizen safety through urban space quality analysis and the application of BSC/AHP methodologies in urban renewal.
