Neelabh Gupta is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich. He works within the ERC-funded SMALL PLATFORMS project led by Principal Investigator Prof. Sahana Udupa.
His research focuses on:
- Anthropology of freedom
- Digital media
- Visual cultures in South Asia
His PhD explored atheism in Northern India's Hindustani region, and he is currently conducting ethnographic fieldwork on misinformation and digital media in India. Contact details:
