Necmettin Alkan

Necmettin Alkan is a Professor in the Department of History at Sakarya University. He specializes in late Ottoman history, particularly the reign of Sultan Abdülhamid II, Balkan conflicts, and German-Ottoman relations. His research examines political transformations, military coups, and international relations during the decline of the Ottoman Empire.

He teaches courses including Introduction to History, Philosophy of History, Ottoman Diplomacy, and History through Cartoons.
