Neal Marshall Stevens

Neal Marshall Stevens is an Adjunct Professor of Screenwriting at the David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts, Maharishi International University. He holds a graduate degree from NYU’s Graduate School of Film and Television. With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Stevens has worked across film genres including horror, science fiction, and children's fantasy.

Key career highlights include roles as Creative Consultant/Story Editor for Laurel Entertainment’s Monsters series (1988–1991), Senior Story Editor for films like The Vernon Johns Story and Precious Victims, and extensive work at Full Moon Entertainment, where he contributed to over 30 projects including the Puppetmaster series and directed Stitches.

His original screenplay Deader became Hellraiser: Deader (1994), and he wrote the remake of Thirteen Ghosts (2001). Stevens currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
