Neal Lerner

Neal Lerner is Professor of English at Northeastern University, specializing in writing pedagogy and rhetorical theory. He developed the Meaningful Writing Project framework investigating authentic writing experiences across disciplines. His scholarship has received multiple awards including the NCTE David H. Russell Award and CCCC Advancement of Knowledge Award.

Teaching focuses on writing instruction methodologies, creative nonfiction, and tutor training.
