Nazlıcan Taştan is a Research Assistant at Trakya University's Kırkpınar Faculty of Sports Sciences, where she also serves as Press and Media Officer since March 2024. Her academic journey includes three concurrent bachelor's degrees completed in 2017 from Trakya University in Recreation, Coach Education (double major), and Physical Education and Sports Teaching.
Her educational background demonstrates exceptional dedication to sports sciences, continuing with a Master's in Recreation Management (2023) and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Physical Education and Sports at Trakya University's Institute of Health Sciences. Her master's thesis examined recreational activities among private secondary school students in Edirne province.
Taştan's research focuses on sports psychology, recreation management, and measurement/evaluation in sports sciences. Her work primarily involves adapting psychological scales to sports contexts and analyzing recreational behaviors. She has published extensively in 2024, with numerous conference presentations focusing on metacognitive processes, leadership assessment, aggression tendencies, and recreational behaviors in various sports populations.
